Adam's Ribs

B- Man submitted this recipe a while back. I made them tonight and served with baked potatoes , they were very tender and delicious.

Adam’s Ribs
8 country style pork ribs Dr. Pepper 1 onion, quartered 1 T. liquid smoke 5 cloves garlic, minced barbecue sauce
Pour enough Dr. Pepper over ribs in large pot to cover. Add garlic, liquid smoke, and onion. Bring to a boil reduce to simmer and simmer 1 hr. or until almost tender. Remove ribs to baking dish covr with your favorite barbecue sauce and bake at 350 for 45 minutes, basting occasionally.
