Adobe Sauced Pork Chops
6 pork loin chops…cut…½ inch thick
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
¼ cup vinegar
1 white onion, quartered
2 cloves of garlic
1 jalapeno
2 T. flour
2 T. chili powder
1 T. oil
1 tsp. salt
½ tsp. dried oregano…crushed
¼ tsp. cumin seed
In a blender place all ingredients…EXCEPT…pork chops.
Cover and blend until onion and jalapeno are finely chopped.
In a large skillet…place pork chops…cover with the sauce…
Refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
Simmer in the sauce for 35 to 45 minutes or until tender.
