Alaska Crab Legs With Dipping Sauce
Crab legs are a cinch to prepare and fun to eat. Try one or all three of the suggested dipping sauces.

3 lbs or more crab legs (Dungeness, king or snow)
1 Recipe Red Sauce
1/2 cup chili sauce
1 tsp horseradish
1 tsp rice vinegar
1 Recipe Verde Sauce
1 medium avocado, pitted, peeled and mashed
1/3 cup low-fat sour cream
2 tsp ground cumin
2 tsp lime juice
1/4 tsp hot pepper sauce
1 Recipe Butter Sauce
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 Tbs lemon juice
3/4 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp dried dill weed
1/8 tsp white pepper

  1. Fill a large sauté or fry pan with water to ½-inch depth; add crab legs and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 4 minutes. Drain and serve with your choice of dipping sauces.

  2. To assemble dipping sauces, combine ingredients for desired sauce in a small bowl and blend well.
