Apple Maple Pork Roast(slow cooker)
Takes no time to prepare and then you can just leave it all day to cook! Good comfort food to help ease the cold away.
1 Pork Roast (size will depend on your slow cooker capacity)
3 Tbsp chopped garlic
3/4 cup maple syrup
3 apples, cut in large pieces (can leave peeled)
Place pork roast into slow cooker. Place apple pieces around roast.
Cover roast in chopped garlic and sprinkle with black pepper and sea salt.
Pour maple syrup over roast and apples.
Set your slow cooker for either low (about 8 hours) or high (about 4 hours).
Slice roast and serve with apples.
(If desired, you can use the drippings and apples to make an applesauce-like gravy.)
