APPLE PIE CAKE
¼ Cup butter
1 Cup sugar
1 Cup flour
½ tsp. Nutmeg
2½ Cups diced apples
2 tsp hot water
½ tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp soda
¼ tsp salt
1 egg
Sift dry ingredients together. Cut in butter, add egg, add water and vanilla.
Fold in apples. Put in 9 inch pie pan. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
Top with cool whip.
