Apple Spice Custard Cake

1 box (2 layer) spice cake mix
2 medium apples - pared and finely chopped - (approx. 2 cups)
1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)
1 c. sour cream - room temperature
1/4 c. lemon juice
ground cinnamon for garnish

Preheat oven to 350. Prepare cake mix according to package
directions, stir in apples. Pour batter into a well greased and floured 9x13" baking dish. Bake for 30 minutes or until wooden toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Meanwhile, in a medium sized bowl, combine, sweetened condensed milk, sour cream and lemon juice. Remove cake from oven and spread cream mixture over top. Return cake to oven and bake for 10 minutes more until set (like custard). Sprinkle with cinnamon. Cool completely. Keep refrigerated.
