I love that there are all these ideas here!
I have been using my slow cooker for cooking meats to use for different things.
I have cooked a bunch of chicken pieces or beef like I would for stock (some carrots, onion, celery tops, etc) but then strain it, shred &/or cut the meat, use the stock as I normally would but then use all the cooked meat for things like salads, buritos, chicken chili; it’s great.
It’s getting warm out so I like not turning on the stove but I have this meat that I can do a bunch of things with. I have been freezing some of the meat and a lot of the stock but I know that I will end up using all of it.
