Bacon and Creamy Fettuccini

Bacon and Creamy Fettuccini

1 package (16 oz)bacon cut into 1/2 inch pieces
8 oz mushrooms, sliced
6 green onions, sliced
8 oz fettuccini, uncooked
8 oz cream cheese, cubed
2/3 cup milk
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves, crushed
1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves, crushed
1 tomato, chopped

Cook bacon until crisp; drain. Add mushrooms and onions to bacon in skillet; cook and stir about 4 minutes. Set aside.

Meanwhile, cook fettuccini as directed on package in large saucepan; drain. Return fettuccini to saucepan; add cream cheese, milk and seasonings. Cook and stir over medium heat until cream cheese melts.

Toss bacon mixture with fettuccini mixture; sprinkle with chopped tomato.
