Bacon and Macaroni Grilled Cheese

2 slices cibatta bread
2 Tbsp. butter
1/3 cup cheddar mac and cheese
1 slice provolone cheese
2 pieces bacon

Preheat a griddler or panini press.

Butter both slices of bread. Layer the cheese, mac and cheese and bacon on 1 bread slice. Top with the second piece of bread and slightly push them together.

Place sandwich on the grill press and press it down. Cook the sandwich until both sides are golden brown and cheese is melted.

Nice! I’ve never had a mac & cheese, grilled cheese sandwich. Looks good, plus it has bacon. You can go wrong with bacon. I’m a big fan a cibatta buns too, I like them because they are light and crisp. I put a lot of burgers and steak sandwiches on them.
