Banana-Date Toffee Bars

2 eggs
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 box (18.25 oz.) banana cake mix
1/2 cup walnuts – chopped
1 cup chopped dates
1 cup toffee bits

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Spray a 9X13-inch baking pan with cooking spray.

Beat eggs and oil in a large bowl with an electric mixer on low speed
until smooth. Add brown sugar and cake mix. Beat on low speed until
batter comes together like a soft dough. Stir in walnuts and dates until well combined.

Spread dough into prepared baking pan. Sprinkle toffee bits over top and press gently into dough.

Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes.

Remove and cool completely.

Cut into bars and serve.
