Beef Stroganoff with Mushrooms

1 pound cubed beef
1 (10 1/2-oz) can cream of mushroom soup
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1/4 cup beef broth or water
Noodles, for serving (optional)


Mix all ingredients except the noodles in a slow cooker. Cover, and cook on low setting for 6 to 8 hours, depending on the tenderness of the beef. Serve over noodles.
