Black Forest Christmas Cookies
8 oz cream cheese
1 cup butter
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 cup flour
1/3 cup cocoa
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup chopped maraschino cherries, drained
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream cheese, butter, and sugar. Stir in
egg and vanilla. Mix together flour, cocoa, and baking powder and stir
into creamed mixture. Stir in nuts and cherries. Drop by teaspoons onto greased cookie sheets. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
