Bob Evans Chili

1 pound Bob Evans Zesty Hot Sausage Roll (if you don’t want it spicy use the Original Recipe Sausage)
¾ to 1 cup onions, diced
3 to 4 rounded teaspoon chili powder
1 rounded teaspoon ground cumin
¾ teaspoon garlic powder
1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
1 can (15 ounces) light red kidney beans (including liquid)
¾ cup water

Brown and crumble sausage in large skillet. Add onion and cook until tender and sausage is no longer pink. Carefully drain off excess drippings. Add seasonings and blend with sausage mixture. Add remaining ingredients and simmer over medium to low heat for 20 to 25 minutes. Refrigerate leftovers.

Makes 4 to 6 servings
