Bread Machine Banana Bread

Small Loaf - 1 lb

1 cup sliced ripe banana
1/3 cup buttermilk
1 1/2 tbsp oil
1 1/2 tbsp honey
1 1/3 cups Bread Flour
2/3 cup Whole Wheat Flour
1 tsp salt
1 1/4 tsp bread machine yeast

Large Loaf 1 1/2 lb

1 1/2 cups sliced ripe banana
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 tbsp oil
2 tbsp honey
2 cups Bread Flour
1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
1 1/4 tsp salt
1 3/4 tsp bread machine yeast

SELECT loaf size. 1 POUND or 1 1/2 POUND
ADD ingredients to machine according to manufacturer’s directions.
SELECT WHITE BREAD CYCLE and LIGHT CRUST setting.

Ingredients you will need:
2 large eggs 1/3 cup of butter
1/8 cup milk 2 medium very ripe bananas, mashed
1 1/3 cup bread flour 2/3 cup of sugar
1 ¼ tsp baking powder ½ tsp baking soda

Directions:

  1. Ensure that all of your banana bread recipe ingredients are at room temperature.
  2. Measure your butter and milk and place them into your bread machine’s bread pan with the eggs and the mashed bananas.
  3. In a medium sized mixing bowl stir your dry ingredients together until well blended.
  4. Add your dry ingredients into your bread machine’s bread pan, along with the other ingredients.
  5. Select the Quick Bread setting on your bread machine.
