Bulk Seasoned Flour

This is a great start for a lot of pre-seasoning:

5# Flour
1-1/2 Cups Powder Milk
1/3 Cups Garlic Powder
1/4 Cup Pepper
1/2 Cup Salt

Mix in a large bowl and place in an air-tight container.

I use this and add extras as necessary for specific dishes. It’s great to have on hand.

I posted the Seasoned Flour. I got the recipe from a friend who ran a restaurant. He used it as a basic dusting flour when called for in stew, fried fish or any meat. You can follow up with egg wash and bread crumbs, or not. Not sure what the powder milk does for the mix…I’ll ask and get back to you. One of his recipes is M & M Chicken. Flatten chicken breast, dust in seasoned flour, fry in olive oil, top with monterray jack cheese and sauted mushrooms, and serve when cheese is melted. It’s very good. I’ll be back.

i have one somewhere using milk. would like to try the coffee creamer one.

I am flattered to think that I posted something that was thought to be yours :). I use Carnation in the mix. The store brand creamer sounds interesting. I’ll have to make a small batch of the flour and see if there’s a difference. You might have started something good!
