Buttermilk Skies Dressing
1 C Buttermilk, Skim or low fat
4 T Mayonnaise, light or regular
½ C light sour cream
1 T white wine *optional
1 T Dijon mustard
1-2 T Finely chopped fresh chives
1-2 T Finely chopped Parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
4-8 oz. Blue cheese may also be used (can also use crumbled feta, minced cucumbers, minced onions)
- Combine buttermilk, mayo, sour cream and mustard in a bowl and whisk until creamy and well mixed. Stir in Chives, parsley, salt and pepper and whisk to blend.
- Stir in Blue Cheese, using desired amount for your personal taste
Note: Serve this creamy and tasty dressing over your favorite salad or spoon it into a bowl and serve it as a dip for fresh vegetables or a sauce over baked potatoes!
Yields: about 2 Cups
