ALIANZA would like to invite everyone to join in our Latino Cookbook Project

Don’t let your name or that of your organization miss the opportunity to be in this book, which will be seen all over the U.S!

Reminder: The deadline for our cookbook project is right around the corner—Extended to June 15th for recipes/art/DV poetry/short stories! Please let me know if you encounter a problem w/ the deadline.

Not only will “Remembering the Sabores of My Cocina” be filled to the brim with recipes collected from DV shelters/programs all over the U.S., survivors, advocates, and people who care about the cause, but it will also be full of important facts, stories, statistics, DV poetry and short stories. And as we all know, where there is DV in the home, usually child abuse and animal abuse will follow. We’ve even received submissions from several Celebrity DV Advocates as well as many heart-felt recipes dedicated in remembrance of DV victims and many little baby angels who died at the hands of their abuser. A BIG thank you to the many wonderful individuals (and programs) from various states who have submitted recipes/ art/ poetry, etc. to our cause! Your name and efforts will definitely be seen throughout the nation!
