Cheese Stuuffed Meatloaf

A few years ago I weighed over 300 lbs ( I now weigh 160) but I overhauled many of my recipes. Meatloaf was something that my family enjoyed making but can you say dry. My DH hated all untill I came up with this slightly lowfat recipe…the cheese kind of takes and adds some calories but we love it and my family begs for it on the monthly menu.

2 lbs turkey hamburger *
1 small yellow onion (grated into bowl) *
1 cp cooked white rice ( cooled) ( You can also use the Uncle Ben Micro Rice to save time)
2 eggs

6 slices RC and RS Cheddar Cheese (frozen still works great)
2 tsp Natures Seasoning ( My favorite Spice) *
1/2 cp Sweet Baby Ray’s Original BBQ sauce

Mix * ingredients together in large bowl til incorporated. Take 1/2 of mixture and place in lrg loaf pan. Place frzn cheese in a row down center. Place other 1/2 of turkey mixture on top. Seal meat all around edges so cheese is sealed in. Pour BBQ sauce over top. Bake at 375 for 45-60 mins.

I place a cookie sheet under pan just in case.
