This is a real simple recipe and it is a hit with the children. We like it to.
1 pound Lean ground beef
1/2 cup evaporated ilk
1/2 cup catsup
1/3 cup dried bread crumbs
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/2 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
4 oz. shredded sharp cheddar cheese (1 cup)
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 ready made pie crust in the dairy section
Preheat oven to 350*F.
Combine first 6 ingredients, 3/4 tsp. salt, and 1/8 tsp. black pepper. line an 8-in. pie plate with the pie crust. Fill with the meat mixture. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, toss cheese with Worcestershire sauce, sprinkle atop the pie. Bake 10 minutes more. Remove from the oven, let stand 10 minutes before serving.
