Cheesy Deluxe Scalloped Potatoes

6 medium potatoes
1/3 cup flour
2 1/2 cups milk
1/2 lb cheddar cheese
4 Tbsp butter
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Peel potatoes and slice. Arrange slices in a buttered ovenproof casserole dish. Grate cheese. Melt butter in top of double boiler, stir in flour, salt & worcestershire sauce. Gradually blend in milk and stir until thickened. Remove from heat. Add all but 1/2 cup cheese. Pour sauce over potatoes, sprinkle remaining cheese on top and bake for 1 1/2 hours.
