Cherry Cool Whip Salad

1 can cherry pie filling
1 small can drained pineapple
1 large (12 oz.)Cool Whip
1 cup chopped pecans
1 tsp. almond flavoring

Mix and refrigerate 3 to 4 hours or over night, before serving.

I have a similar recipe as this but it also includes a small package of Jello (your choice). It stiffens things up a bit.

Do you just mix all ingredients with the Jello? or do you need to let it set a bit first? This sounds good, and I’d like to try it so let me know. Thanks!
