Chicken and rice casserole

1 chicken or 8 leg quarters (cut up)
3/4 stick margarine
1 1/2 cups rice
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 soup cans of water
garlic salt
pepper

Melt margarine in a 10x15 pan that you are cooking the casserole in. Stir in the rice. Mix the 2 soups and 2 cans of water together. Mix with rice. Garlic salt and pepper the chicken with enough to salt and pepper the rice. Lay the chicken on top of the rice. I take the skin off my chicken. Cover with foil and bake 2 1/2 hours at 300F.
