Chicken Wings 2
3 lb. chicken wings, cleaned (1.5 kg)
3 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tbsp of chili powder (15ml)
1 tbsp of chili flakes (15ml)
2 tsp paprika (10ml)
2 tsp sugar (30ml)
3 x limes, segmented
Salt and pepper to taste
Place the cleaned chicken wings in a plastic sealable bag.
Pour the marinade over the chicken wings and seal the baggie. Shake bag to ensure the chicken is evenly coated. Let marinate in the refrigerator for 5 hours.
Preheat barbecue to 300Â°F/150Â°C or medium low heat.
Remove the chicken wings from the plastic bag and discard the marinade.
Place chicken wings on the grill and cook for 8 minutes per side. The wings will be crispy and golden brown in colour.
In a medium size bowl mix together the marinade ingredients.
