Ingredients:
Spinach-3 cups chopped
Chickpeas/Kondakadalai-1 cup cooked or 1 can drained
Onion-1 sliced
Tomato-2 chopped
Chilli powder-1 tsp
Coriander powder / Malli podi-1 tblspn
Turmeric powder / Manjal podi-1 tsp
Garam masala powder-1 tsp
Cumin seeds / Jeerakam-1 tsp
Oil-1 tblspn
Salt to taste
Preparation:
Heat oil in a kadai and crackle some cumin seeds.
Add in onions and cook for 3 mins…Add in all the spice powders and mix well.
Throw in chopped tomatoes and mix well.
Season with some salt and mix well.
Add in spinach and mix well.Throw in chickpeas also…
Mix well.Pour in some water and cover and simmer for 5 -10 mins…
Serve it with roti or rice…
