Chocolate Chip Caramel Nut Bars
8 oz Carmels
2 Tbs Carnation Evaporated Milk
1 pkg (18 oz) refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough divided
1 cup chopped Walnuts divided
Procedure Melt caramels with milk in heavy saucepan over low heat
stirring frequently until smooth. Set aside.
Press three quarters of cookie dough into bottom of greased 9" square
baking pan Bake in preheated 350° oven for 10 min.
Sprinkle ½ cup of walnuts over cookie crust. Drizzle caramel mixture
over nuts with spoon. Top with teaspoonfuls of remaining cookie dough
press gently into caramel mix. Sprinkle with remaining nuts. Bake for
14 to 18 min or until edge is set. Cool in pan on wire rack cut into
