Chocolate Fondue

16 ounces chocolate (semisweet or dark)
½ pint (1 cup) whipping cream
½ cup caramel topping (Smuckers)
3 Tbsp Torani hazelnut syrup or favorite liqueur (Amaretto,
Frangelico, Grand Marnier or Cabernet Sauvignon wine)
¼ cup finely chopped hazelnuts or almonds (optional)

Place all ingredients in ceramic fondue pot over low heat. Stir constantly until mixture is melted and smooth. DO NOT ALLOW TO BUBBLE.

Serve with salted pretzel sticks, cubed pound cake, biscotti bits, sliced bananas, stem strawberries, orange sections, fresh diced pineapple, cherries, apples, grapes, and marshmallows.

NOTE: Add the liqueur gradually to your taste.
