16 slices white bread, crusts off
Slices of back bacon or ham
Slices of sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup onion, chopped
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
3 cups whole milk
1/4 lb butter or margarine
Dash of Tabasco sauce
Special K or corn flakes, crushed
Cover bottom of 9x13-inch buttered glass dish with 8 bread slices. Cover bread slices with bacon or ham slices. Lay cheese slices on top. Cover with remaining bread to make a sandwish.
Beat eggs, salt and pepper. Add mustard, onion, green pepper, Worcestershire sauce, milk and Tabasco sauce. Pour over sandwich. Cover; let stand in fridge overnight.
In morning, melt butter; pour over top. Cover with Special K.
Bake at 350 F about 1 hour. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
