Coffee Cheesecake Squares
2 tubes refrigerated crescent rolls
2 8 ounce packages cream cheese
1 cup + 1/2 cup granulated white sugar, divided
1 egg yolk
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup granulated white sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 cup or more of chopped pecans, optional
Heat oven to 350 degrees. F. Lightly spray a 9x13x2 inch baking dish.
Spread 1 package of crescent rolls over the bottom of
the baking dish.
Mix the cream cheese, the 1 c. sugar, vanilla, and egg yolk
together. Spread the cream cheese mixture over top.
Repeat layers. Top with the pecans.
Mix the 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle
over top. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes. Let cool and then refrigerate.
Cut into squares to serve.
