Country Style Ham and Noodles

16 ounces Noodles
1/4 pound butter
1/4 cup diced onions
1 cup green peppers, cut in thin strips
1 cup carrots, cut in thin strips
1 cup diced ham
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste

Cook and drain pasta according to package directions; reserve 1/2 cup pasta cooking water. Heat butter in large skillet over medium heat. Cook and stir onions, peppers and carrots until tender-crisp. Add ham; stir until heated through. Add noodles, pasta water and cheese; blend well. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
