Cream Cheese Swirls
Two 250 g (8.7 oz.) packages of cream cheese, softened
2 tbsp ranch style dressing mix
2 tbsp fresh chives, minced
4 round flour tortillas (30 cm/12â€)
1 red chili pepper, diced (optional)
3 green chilies, diced
1 can black olives (375 mL /13oz.) pitted and diced
Mix first three ingredients and divide into four parts. Spread evenly onto tortillas with spreader or back of a spoon.
Dry diced olives by blotting on paper towel, and mix with diced chilies. Divide into four equal parts and sprinkle each tortilla with olive and chili mixture.
Roll tortillas tightly, wrap in plastic wrap, and place in refrigerator to chill for at least 2 hours. Cut rolls into .65 cm (1/4â€) thick slices right before serving.
Makes 3 dozen.
