Crockpot Teriyaki Steak

2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon sugar
1 clove garlic, crushed
2-1/2 pound boneless chuck steak, cut into thin slices

Combine all ingredients except steak in a bowl. Place meat in your Crock-Pot slow cooker. Pour sauce on top of steak. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. Serve over hot rice.
