Death By Chocolate Trifle
21 oz. box brownie mix, baked according to directions and cooled
1/4 cup coffee liquer (can substitute 1/4 c. strong coffee and 1 tsp.
sugar)
2 4-serving boxes instant chocolate fudge pudding prepared according to
pkg directions
1 12 ounce container Cool whip, thawed
8 1.4 ounce chocolate covered toffee candy bars, coarsley crushed

Use a fork to prick holes in the top of the cooled brownies. Drizzle
with the liquer. -
Break up the brownies into small pieces and place half in the bottom
of the trifle dish or other large glass serving bowl. Cover with half
of the pudding, 1/3 of the crushed candy and half of the Cool Whip.
Repeat the layers, then top with the remaining crushed candy. -
Cover and chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
