Cocoa Apple Cake
3 eggs
2 C granulated sugar
2 sticks margarine- softened(1/2#)
1/2 C water
Cream together untill fluffy
Sif together:
2 1/2 C flour
2 T cocoa
1 tsp each:
baking soda
cinnamon
allspice
Add to creamed mixture and mix well.
1 C walnuts- finely chopped
1/2 C semi-sweet chocolate bits,
2 C apples, grated
1 T vanilla
Mix untill distributed evenly. Spoon into greased
& floured 19" loose-bottom tube pan.
Bake 325 degree oven 60-7- minutes or until a
thin tester comes clean.
