Greens become gourmet in just 15 minutes when savory beef meets Dijon.

1 lb sirloin or strip loin steak
3 Tbsp Dijon mustard
1/2 tsp cracked pepper
2 Tbsp EACH red wine vinegar and mayonnaise
1/2 tsp EACH sugar and crushed garlic
1 pkg (300g) mixed salad greens
Reserve 2 Tbsp mustard. Spread remainder on steak and top with pepper. Broil or grill steaks, about 5 minutes per side for medium.
Meanwhile whisk together reserved mustard, vinegar, mayonnaise, sugar and garlic. Toss greens with dressing, reserving 2 Tbsp dressing for topping.
Divide greens onto serving plates, top with croutons.
Slice steaks into thin strips, place on greens, and drizzle with reserved dressing. Makes 4 servings.
