Dilled Green Beans

1 lb. fresh green bens
1 Tbsp. margarine
1 medium green pepper, chopped
3 edium tomatoes, peeled, seeded and chopped
1/2 cup water
1 tsp. dried whole dill seeds
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 fresh ground pepper

Remove strings from beans, wash and cut into 2 in. pieces. Coat a medium saucepan with a little shortening. Place margerine in saucepan and melt. Add green pepper, saute until just tender.

Add next 5 ingredients to saucepan, bring to a boil cover, reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes, stir in green beans, cover and simmer until beans are tender.
