Alcohol doesn’t freeze hard so this makes a nice slush drink for
those hot summer days. Enjoy!

Sorry, forgot to include name of the drink I posted above (first time I
post a message…lol).

Name of drink is SLUSH DRINK.

Be careful, you tend to forget that there’s actually alcohol in the drink
so make sure that you don’t drink and drive!

ANYBODY have a recipe for Iced Cappucino like Tim Horton’s.
Tried one but didn’t have enough flavour.

Chocolate Orange Shake

Refreshing. Not too sweet - unless you add a final garnish of whipped topping!

1 cup ginger ale
3 rounded scoops of chocolate ice cream

Pour orange juice and ginger ale into blender.
Add ice cream. Process until smooth.
Makes 2-1/2 cups. Serves 2

Coffee Alexander Shake

2 tsp instant coffee granules
1 cup milk
2 tbsp chocolate syrup

Stir boiling water and coffee granules in small cup. Cool.

Put milk, syrup, ice cream and prepared coffee into blender.
Process until smooth.
Pour into 2 fancy stemware glasses.
Makes 2 cups. Serves 2.

Chocolate Soda

Or a chocolate float. Notice the colour change as you pour soda water over the dark base.

1/2 cup chocolate milk
1 rounded scoop of vanilla or chocolate ice cream
1 cup soda water

Pour chocolate milk into 16 oz glass.
Add ice cream.
Pour soda water slowly into glass until full.
Serve with straw and long soda spoon.
Makes 2 cups. Serves 1.

NOTE: 1-1/2 tsp instant chocolate drink powder or 1 tbsp chocolate syrup stirred into 1/2 cup milk may be used instead of chocolate milk.

Cranberry Punch

2 cups cranberry cocktail
2 cups orange juice
1 cup pineapple juice
2 cups ginger ale

Note: Combine first 3 ingredients and chill. Do not add ginger ale until ready to serve punch so that it doesn’t go flat.

You can omit the orange juice.

Add frozen raspberries to punch as a garnish and/or make ice cubes out of cranberry cocktail and pineapple juice (red and yellow cubes) so that it doesn’t water down the punch and keeps it chilled.

For the holidays, I put 2 cups cranberry cocktail and 2 cups orange juice into a bundt cake pan and froze it solid to make like a big ice cube. When frozen solid, dip pan in hot water to loosen then put big cube into punch bowl. It keeps the punch chilled for quite a while.

My sister-in-law LOVES this punch (without the orange juice) at Christmas time where she adds WINE to her glass of punch! Makes it kinda like a wine spritzer I guess.

I served this punch (with the orange juice) for the kids at Christmas time, instead of pop. Was funny how my 12 year old daughter kept asking me if I was sure there was no alcohol in this punch. The ginger ale adds a little fizz. Makes a great non-alcoholic drink!
