DUTCH APPLE COOKIES

I LIVED IN KENTUCKY IN THE 60’S AND WE ATE A COOKIE CALLED
DUTCH APPLE. IT CAME IN A FOLD OVER PACKAGE. IT WAS MAKE BY
KEEBLER . DO NOT KNOW WHEN IT ENDED, IT WAS A LONG TIME AGO!
I JUST WANT SOMEONE TO TELL ME THEY REMEMBER THOSE COOKIES!
GUESS MY HUSBAND IS TIRED OF HEARING , WISH I HAD THE RECIPE
FOR THOSE GREAT COOKIES!!!

LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU…
SANDI

The cookies were sort of like the Danish Wedding Cookies that Keebler still makes, but they had granular sugar instead of powdered white sugar on the outside. Both of those cookies came in the kind of bag you describe back then. I was a child at the time, but we used to buy the Dutch Apple cookies. I have no idea how to make them, but at least you can rest assured that you’re not totally losing your mind and making it up.

Sandi,
Wow i thought i was the only one who fell in love with those cookies!! The BEST! I was a kid then, i wish i had some now! maybe find a recipe on line but wont be the same! maybe we can write KEEBLER!
