Add to crockpot:
Some chopped garlic, onion, carrots, parsnip, potato, swede, celeriac and any other veg that is in season altering the amount to how many people that you need to feed.
Chopped beef steaks (you can brown these of in a pan of olive oil with some garlic first if you like).
Add enough stock to cover the meat and veg. Season with a bouquet garni, an extra beef stock cube and a pinch of dried mixed herbs. Simmer for about 5 hours.
I had some on Sunday night it was delicious, Monday was amazing but more like a soup.
