Easy Poached Eggs In a Birds Nest
Take a square of plastic wrap ( about 8"x8") and place over a shallow Jar lid (about 4 inches round in size) with the clear wrap. (Large peanut butter jar lid works well)
Spray the plastic wrap lightly with vegetable spray.
Add 1/4 teaspoon of butter for added flavor.
Crack an egg onto the plastic wrap and bring the ends of the plastic wrap up and twist to encase each egg separately. tie closed with a bread tie. set aside and prepare the next egg for poaching.
after preparing eggs for poaching arrange hash brown potatoes in the center of your plate.
Place your prepared eggs in the simmering water and Cook . 4 to 6 minutes. Use tongs to
remove from the water to paper towels to absorb any water on the outside of the wrap.
remove to plate and open the plastic wrap and slide egg off of the wrap to the center of your hash browns on the plate.
add sausage or bacon and toast.
season meal and enjoy!
