Elke’s Chinese Style Chicken

Oven: 350
1 1/2—2 Hours

1 whole chicken
3/4 c soy sauce
1/3 c & 2 T brown sugar
1/2 t Chinese Five Spice Powder
2 t garlic powder

Wash chicken. Place remaining ingredients in a ziplock bag and mix together. Add chicken. Marinate overnight in fridge turning occasionally. Place chicken upright on cone or clean empty pop can, in a baking dish. Bake until drumstick turns easily in your fingers.
