Evon’s Walnuts - Banana Nut Bread
(Preheat oven to 350-degrees F)
1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
1 cup white granulated sugar
2 eggs
3 ripe bananas
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
3 Tablespoons milk
1 cup walnuts (chopped)
- Cream together butter and sugar.
- Add eggs and bananas. Mix (using an electric mixer) until bananas are well mashed.
- Add flour, milk and soda. Blend thoroughly but do not over mix.
- Fold in nuts.
- Pour batter into 2 greased and floured loaf pans (8 1/2" x 4 1/2" x 2").
Bake for 45 minutes (at 350-F), Remove bake loaves from pans to cool.
