Evon’s Walnuts - Banana Nut Bread

(Preheat oven to 350-degrees F)

1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
1 cup white granulated sugar
2 eggs
3 ripe bananas
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
3 Tablespoons milk
1 cup walnuts (chopped)

  1. Cream together butter and sugar.
  2. Add eggs and bananas. Mix (using an electric mixer) until bananas are well mashed.
  3. Add flour, milk and soda. Blend thoroughly but do not over mix.
  4. Fold in nuts.
  5. Pour batter into 2 greased and floured loaf pans (8 1/2" x 4 1/2" x 2").
    Bake for 45 minutes (at 350-F), Remove bake loaves from pans to cool.
