Fettuccine alfredo

QUICK AND EASY FETTUCCINE ALFREDO

1 lb uncooked fettuccine
1 tbsp butter
1 1/4 cups half-and-half cream
3/4 cup fresh grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp fresh ground black pepper

Cook the fettuccine according to the package directions, however leave out the salt and butter or oil. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the half-and-half cream, Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper; cook for 1 minutes, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and add drained fettuccine. Toss the mixture gently to coat fettuccine noodles.
