Five-flavour Peach Freezer Jam

Want A Little Variety? This Recipe Allows You To Make Five Different Flavoured Peach Jams In Just One Recipe. Even Better, There’s No Cooking Involved! Just Crush, Stir & Eat Or Freeze.

1½ Cups Granulated Sugar
1 Pouch (45 G) Bernardin Freezer Jam Pectin
4 Cups Crushed Peaches
2 Tsp Bottled Lemon Juice

Flavour Variations Per 8 Oz (250 Ml) Jar:

1½ Tsp Crème De Cacao Or Amaretto
½ Tsp Finely Grated Orange Zest
1/8 Tsp Ground Cinnamon
1/16 Tsp Almond Extract
10 Mint Leaves, Thoroughly Bruised With Back Of Spoon
(do Not Tear)

Wash & Rinse 5 X 250 Ml Mason Jars & Bernardin Storage Or 2-piece Snap Lids. 

In Mixing Bowl, Stir Together Sugar & Freezer Jam Pectin Until Well Mixed.

Blanch & Pit Peaches; Thoroughly Crush & Measure 4 Cups.  

Add Peaches & Lemon Juice To Pectin-sugar Mixture; Stir 3 Minutes. 

For All Variations Except For Mint, Ladle Jam Into Clean 250 Ml Mason Jars To Within ½ Inch Of Top Rim (headspace). Add One Flavour Choice To Each Jar & Stir Well. 

For Mint, Leave Remaining Jam In Bowl; Add Bruised Mint Leaves. Stir Constantly 2 Minutes; Remove Leaves. Ladle Jam Into Jars. 

Wipe Jar Rims Removing Any Stickiness. Apply Lids Tightly. 

Let Stand, About 30 Minutes, Until Thickened. Freeze Up To 1 Year; Refrigerate Up To 3 Weeks Or Serve Right Away. 

Makes About 5 X 250 Ml Jars.

Note: Splenda* No Calorie Sweetener May Be Substituted For The Granulated Sugar. Use The Same Quantity Of Splenda As Directed For Granulated Sugar. Other Artificial Sweeteners Are Not Suitable Substitutes.
