I made Kitchen Witch’s recipe for Flim Flam Chicken tonight. It made a very flavorful baked chicken. I bet this recipe would also be good with pork chops, steak, or fish. Thanks KW for another good , easy recipe. I served it with gaspacho salad, potato salad,pinto beans, cornbread, and fried okra, with blackberry cobbler for dessert.
Flim Flam Chicken
2 t. salt 1/2 c. butter 1/4 c. lemon juice 1/4 c. vinegar 1 t. onion salt 1 t. garlic salt 1/2 t. thyme 5 chicken leg thigh quarters
Place all but chicken in saucepan. Cook over med. low heat until butter is melted stirring to blend. Dip chicken in sauce coating completely. Place on baking sheet and bake at 350 for 45 minutes turning and basting once.
