Frank sinatra's meatballs

FRANK SINATRA’S MEATBALLS

2 eggs
1/2 cup water
1 cup fine bread crumbs
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
3/4 pound ground beef
1/4 pound ground pork
1/2 cup grated Italian cheese
Olive oil for frying

Mix together the eggs, water, bread crumbs, salt, pepper and
garlic in a medium bowl. Let stand 5 minutes.

Combine the ground beef and pork with the cheese. Mix in the egg and bread crumb mixture thoroughly. Shape into balls and fry on all sides in olive oil in skillet set over medium heat.

Makes 4 servings
