1 tablespoon sour cream
4 tablespoons gorgonzola, crumbled
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 pound lean ground beef
1 green onion, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons chopped red bell pepper
salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
4 Kaiser rolls, split
In a small bowl, gently combine the sour cream, gorgonzola, mayonnaise and mustard. Cover and chill until serving time.
Crumble ground beef into a large bowl. Add green onion, bell pepper, salt and pepper and mix well. Form mixture into 4 patties. Grill patties to your liking. Quickly toast the Kaiser rolls on the grill. Put burgers on the rolls and top patties with the gorgonzola sauce.
