GRANDMOTHER HUBBARD’S FROZEN FRUIT SALAD
1 can apricots, chopped
1 can pears, chopped
1 bottle red cherry halves
1 can crushed pineapple
1 can mandarin oranges
2 bananas, sliced
1 cup pecans, chopped, optional
Drain all fruits. Set aside. Prepare dressing:
2 eggs, beaten
4 tbsp. vinegar
4 tbsp. sugar
1 small jar Marshmallow Creme
1 (6 oz.) carton whipped topping
Party Salad Topping
1 (4 1/2 oz.) carton whipped topping
1/4 cup salad dressing
1/4 cup instant breakfast orange drink mix
Mix well. Refrigerate until serving time.
Combine eggs, vinegar and sugar in heavy pan. Cook until thick,
stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Cool. Add marshmallow cream
and whipped topping. Add fruit and mix well. Pour into individual
molds. Freeze for 24 hours.
Garnish with party salad topping and fresh strawberry.
