Greek Chili

A variation on the traditional gyro! This will make a great meal!

1 pounds ground beef (browned)
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 tablespoons cumin powder
3 teaspoons paprika
1 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon red pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon minced onion
1 1/2 cups water
4 slices pita bread

Put all ingredients in the slow cooker. Cook on high for 1-1/2 to 4 hours or on low for 3-1/2 to 6 hours. Place 1/4 cup into pita bread. Serve with sliced tomatoes and cucumbers.
