4 large portobello mushrooms
2 Tbs olive oil
1 clove garlic, peeled and minced
French bread or kaiser rolls
Prepare and preheat the grill. Wash and dry mushrooms. Blend the olive oil and garlic together. Brush on mushrooms. Grill over hot coals about 4 mins. per side. Place mushrooms on bread and serve with an herbed mayonaise or a spicy mustard, lettuce and tomato , if desired.
