1 lb (16 ounces) macaroni, or your pasta of choice

16 ounces cheddar cheese

4 tablespoons butter

1 cup evaporated milk

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1. Cook the macaroni in a large pot of boiling water for about 30-45 minutes
2. Drain the pasta and set it aside
3. The boiling water ratio should be about 4 times the amount of that of the macaroni content
4. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C)
5. Cheddar cheese content
6. In a separate large pot, melt the butter over medium heat
7. Mix in the garlic powder, salt, black pepper
8. Slowly whip in the evaporated milk and stir until smooth
9. Place the mixture to an 8"x11" baking pan
10. Pour the cheese sauce into the cooked macaroni and stir
11. Add optional parmesan cheese
12. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
